As the new Data Engineer, you will support the development and professionalisation of the data foundation in the PS Sustainability team, monitoring and reporting sustainability metrics across all of Product Supply, Quality and IT (PSQIT).

responsibilities :
Design, develop, test and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate data workflows
Utilize Databricks to build scalable data solutions and optimize performance
Ensure data quality, integrity and security across all data engineering processes
Ensure adherence to best practices and Ways of Working
Establish and promote best practices for version control using git
Collaborate with the PS Sustainability team to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team
Several business-critical data products and models already exist and require maintenance and improvement, while the department itself is undergoing a major transformation. This role involves taking on key responsibility in the ongoing development and maintenance of the data foundation. Work is carried out in product teams in an agile setup with clear priorities, collaborative processes, and curious minds.
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, complemented by experience in data engineering. A master’s degree is preferred
Extensive experience with Git and managing version control in a collaborative environment
Proven track record of implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines
Strong proficiency with Databricks and its ecosystem
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies
Experience with agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Domain leadership experience, i.e., capability to mentor and guide team members
Fluency in English
Availability to travel onsite in Copenhagen, Denmark, on a need-to basis
