about-project :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our PS Sustainability Team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing and professionalizing our data foundation while monitoring and reporting sustainability metrics across Product Supply, Quality, and IT (PSQIT).
responsibilities :
Design, develop, test, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate data workflows.
Utilize Databricks to build scalable data solutions and optimize performance.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data engineering processes.
Adhere to Novo Nordisk’s best practices and Ways of Working.
Establish and promote best practices for version control using Git.
Collaborate with the PS Sustainability Team to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
requirements-expected :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering.
Extensive experience with Git and managing version control in a collaborative environment.
Proven expertise in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Strong proficiency with Databricks and its ecosystem.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
Experience with agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated domain leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding team members.
Fluency in English.
Availability to travel onsite in Copenhagen, Denmark, as needed.
