We are currently looking for Senior Data Engineers to join our Swedish customer within the automotive industry.

Senior Data Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT processes in AWS, Azure, and Snowflake environments.
• Implement transformations and workflows using dbt and other relevant tools.
• Ensure data is accessible, accurate, and consistent across the organization.
• Monitor pipeline performance and respond quickly to production issues.
• Automate data testing and deployment processes.
• Maintain high code quality and DevOps standards for the data team.

Our requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Experience across multiple large-scale assignments of varying complexity
• Proven hands-on delivery of pipelines and data products using: AWS, Azure, Snowflake, dbt, Witboost, Dreamio
• Strong expertise in dbt and modern ELT/ETL practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in data environments
• Experience working within Data Mesh setups
• Practical application of DataOps principles in production
• Strong understanding of: Data governance, Data contracts, Data modeling patterns, Reusable standards / golden paths
• Experience acting as a technical or delivery lead in cross-functional teams
• Experience enabling domain teams and supporting ownership transition
• Strong stakeholder communication skills in distributed environments
