We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and help us execute our ambitious vision. This role is crucial in driving our mission to enhance and solidify our position as a leading organization in the industry. The ideal candidate will bring expertise and innovative thinking to our projects, enabling us to reach new heights of success. This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the clients office.

1. Designing, building, and enhancing scalable data solutions utilizing modern cloud-based data stack technologies
2. Developing and maintaining data integration processes, including efficient ETL workflows
3. Collaborating with business partners to review and discuss functional and non-functional requirements
4. Leading a team of engineers to deliver robust data solutions and drive business value
5. Mentoring and guiding junior data engineers, fostering best practices and supporting their professional growth
6. Staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously refine and advance our data stack

Requirements

1. Over 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, demonstrating a solid foundation in software development
2. Proficiency in Databricks, ETL tools and processes, and APIs, with a strong ability to implement and manage data workflows
3. Extensive knowledge of SQL, coupled with hands-on experience in data modeling and database design
4. In-depth understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including SQL, ADF, ADLS, APIM, and Functions, enabling effective use of cloud resources
5. Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java, showcasing versatility in coding and problem-solving
6. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, enabling seamless teamwork and effective interactions in diverse environments
7. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
8. Fluent English verbal and written skills at a B2+ level
