We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a long-term project for a trusted financial client. The role involves working with cutting-edge cloud technologies, especially within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem. Youll be building scalable data solutions with a focus on performance, automation, and security.

Senior Data Engineer (Big Data)

Your responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-based data pipelines using modern tools and best practices.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Automate testing processes and ensure data security and system stability.
• Work with both structured and unstructured data across hybrid (cloud/on-prem) environments.
• Take part in architectural decisions and help define standards for data engineering.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data solutions.

Our requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Big Data / Data Warehouse projects, ideally on GCP.
• Strong SQL skills and deep understanding of databases.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer) or equivalent tools in AWS/Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Advanced English and an analytical, proactive mindset.
