We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Refinery Architecture Team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring data quality, governance, and seamless integration across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, experience with cloud platforms, and a passion for optimizing data management practices.
responsibilities :
Develop and implement data standards and metadata frameworks to ensure data is treated as a shared organizational asset.Design scalable data models and flow diagrams.
Lead the design, construction, and orchestration of complex data pipelines from multiple sources, ensuring smooth data flow and integration.
Act as the data subject matter expert for testers, developers, and business stakeholders.
Analyze functional and business requirements, creating detailed user stories to guide data solutions and strategies.
Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover insights and connections that drive informed decision-making and strategic planning.
requirements-expected :
Proficiency in SQL and Python, preferably within Google Cloud or other cloud environments.
Experience in data modeling and documenting complex data structures.
Strong understanding of data management best practices, including data lineage, protection, quality, retention, and governance.
Proven ability to design and orchestrate processes, including pipeline development and activity flows, to optimize data operations.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
