As an member of our People & Culture & ESG domain team serving Group Functions, you will be joining forces on ESG compliance data projects & data solutions regarding Falck global workforce. Example: Provide safety department with qualitative insights into workforce accidents. This role entails seamlessly integrating with source systems and establishing data layers that cater to the business needs. Your primary responsibilities will be to implement the Data Layer of the application, source data from ERP solutions and as well suggest and implement new approaches to improve ourselves and our methods. You will collaborate with Business Analysts, Devops Engineers and Architects on a day-to-day basis.

As we embark on an ambitious journey to digitalize healthcare and enhance our customer experience, we are launching groundbreaking initiatives to build state-of-the-art solutions in Data Engineering that will set a new standard in our services and for the company.

Your main responsibilities will involve: 

• Designing, developing, and maintaining the Data Layer for our new solution.
• Sourcing data from ERP and other solutions using cloud-based architecture.
• Developing robust and efficient code in Python, with extensive use of PySpark and other relevant frameworks.
• Data Modelling
• Utilizing SQL Server, Azure Functions, Azure Web Apps in the solutions architecture.

You will be stepping into an international team located in Copenhagen, Warsaw with a common focus to deliver a data foundation for the future while enabling business to meet today’s demand. Additionally, big focus for the team is constant upskilling so we keep learning and improving.

The ideal candidate:

• Has hands-on experience with SQL.
• Is familiar with Azure 
• Is proficient in Python, with extensive experience in PySpark.
• Has solid experience in data modeling and implementing Data Layers for solutions.
• Has experience with DataBricks and Delta Tables
• Has solid experience in DevOps/git/Agile (Continuous integration / Continuous delivery)
• Is an innovative thinker who understands the transformative role of IT in our organization.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys learning new technologies.
• Can communicate complex IT-related issues in an understandable manner.
• Takes ownership of making deliveries progress
• Is proficient in written and spoken English.

The Data function is where data is turned into information in Falck. We are four different teams working with: Data & Analytics, Power Platform & AI Services, Strategic Automation and Master Data. In the entire function we are 80+ data specialists working in Copenhagen and Warsaw.
