For our customer, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in understanding and managing the data products and pipelines within a platform, working closely with various business domains and teams to deliver innovative data solutions. You will be responsible for continuously improving our processes to implement new products in the most efficient way possible.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong proficiency in Azure cloud solutions, C#, Python programming, and excellent documentation skills to meet the regulatory requirements of the medical device sector.
Project information:
- Location: Szczecin (hybrid model of work, 3 days per week in the office)
- Type of employment: Employment contract
- Remuneration: 25 000 gross monthly

Your tasks:
- Developing and maintaining ingestion pipelines from various data sources (databases, APIs, logs, external datasets) in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
- Cleansing, preprocessing, and transforming raw data into structured formats suitable for analysis and storage.
- Integrating data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and accuracy across various data repositories.
- Designing, managing, monitoring, and optimizing data pipelines and databases for scalability, performance, and resource efficiency.
- Documenting data engineering processes, workflows, and data models for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to understand data requirements and provide necessary data assets.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends in AI and data science, applying cutting-edge methodologies and technologies to our projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in data integration, data modeling, data governance, and best practices in data quality using modern data technologies.
- Attention to detail, with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related challenges.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python, along with experience in scripting languages like SQL.
- Extensive knowledge of database management systems and experience working with Microsoft Fabric.
- A strong advocate for fostering a robust engineering culture within an agile and DevOps environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- A relevant educational background in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is preferred).
