Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data architecture solutions based on Snowflake and Data Mesh principles
  • Work with data modeling (Data Vault) and ETL processes using Talend and SQL
  • Support DEV and OPS teams in troubleshooting complex data issues
  • Analyze existing legacy data landscapes and propose architectural improvements on the Snowflake platform
  • Collaborate on building data products, defining data sharing agreements, and observability standards
  • Leverage DataOps and CI/CD practices using tools like GitLab
  • Understand and contribute to the commercial data landscape (experience with DIA is a strong plus)
  • Work with various data input/output formats (APIs, extracts, user inputs)

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect / Senior Data Engineer to join a team working on the development of a modern data platform based on Snowflake and the Data Mesh concept. This role requires strong expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and hands-on engineering in complex enterprise environments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake and the Data Mesh concept
  • Proficiency in SQL (complex query writing)
  • Familiarity with Data Vault modeling
  • Experience with ETL tools (preferably Talend)
  • Good understanding of data and analytics architecture patterns
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., GitLab)
  • Knowledge of dbt (nice to have)
  • Understanding of data integration, transformation, storage, and access patterns
  • Familiarity with AWS (nice to have)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
