responsibilities :

Designing and implementing scalable systems to process and analyze tens of millions of daily events using Java and Kafka
Developing and maintaining real-time data pipelines with streaming technologies to enable event-driven architectures
Working with public cloud infrastructures such as AWS (RDS, S3, EMR) and Google Cloud (BigQuery, GDS) to support big data initiatives
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain platform reliability and scalability, including participating in a rotational 24/7 on-call duty to address critical issues
Writing and optimizing efficient, maintainable, and scalable code while adopting new tools and technologies to meet evolving business needs

requirements-expected :

5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with strong software engineering expertise and a focus on data processing
Proficiency in Java and experience with Kafka or other event-driven pipelines
Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and scalable, distributed systems
Familiarity with public cloud services (AWS, GCP) and containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for seamless collaboration in an international environment
Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, ensuring high system reliability
Residence in Poland is required
