What you will do

As a Data Architect in the BI&AA Foundation team, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing BI&AA platforms to guarantee high service levels and keep tools updated across on-premises, Azure, and SaaS deployments.
• Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, data specialists, and enterprise architects to discover new Business Use Cases and form the link between our Unified Data Platform and Data Visualization tools.
• Designing comprehensive architecture for BI&AA solutions using platforms such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, or KNIME.
• Implementing and refining BI&AA solutions to fulfill business requirements and boost decision-making capabilities.
• Offering expertise on Azure virtual machines, networks, and other resources to facilitate BI&AA platform deployment and operations.
• Reviewing and implementing access management in line with company standards.
• Working with security and compliance to align new BI&AA tool capabilities with company standards and regulations.

Your Future Team:

Meet our BI&AA Foundations team — a vibrant group dedicated to maintaining and evolving our Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics platforms, based in our Volvo Group campus in Wrocław. You’ll work alongside committed data teams, including Data Engineers and Data Analysts, to facilitate the implementation of BI&AA solutions.

Who are you?

In this role, you will bring:

• Experience : At least 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining BI&AA platforms, with proficiency in at least one solution among Qlik Sense, Power BI, or KNIME.
• Analytical Mindset : Tackle challenges analytically, demonstrating strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective Communication Skills : Proficient in communicating with both business stakeholders and technology experts.
• Cloud Knowledge : Familiarity with Azure virtual machines, networks, and other cloud resources. Prior experience with Azure services is a plus.
• Adaptability and Attention to Detail : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in designing and maintaining BI&AA platforms.

Additional Assets:

• Familiarity with other BI&AA tools and platforms.
• Experience with SaaS and on-prem deployment.
• Certifications or training in relevant technologies, such as Azure fundamentals and other pertinent data resources.
