We are looking for a results-oriented and strategic Senior Data Architect to drive the advancement of our enterprise data platform. This position plays a pivotal role in facilitating data-driven decision-making, maintaining data integrity and security, and supporting digital transformation throughout the organization. The successful candidate will possess extensive technical knowledge, proven leadership skills, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to efficiently lead complex initiatives to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and evolve enterprise-wide data platforms using Snowflake, SAP BDC, Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Design and maintain robust data models, pipelines, and integration frameworks that support operational and analytical use cases.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts of the Enterprise Business Application and Customer Data Application to ensure that the data model and data security framework are aligned with the business applications that own the data.
- Lead data governance initiatives, including metadata management, data quality, and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Drive execution of data architecture projects with a hands-on approach, ensuring timely delivery and measurable business impact.
- Mentor and guide data engineering and analytics teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with stakeholders across IT and business functions to translate strategic goals into robust technical solutions.
- Stay ahead of trends in cloud data platforms, AI/ML integration, and data security to continuously improve the data ecosystem.
- Take ownership of platform-wide initiatives and demonstrate leadership in cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or Senior Data Engineer in large enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, semantic model, ETL/ELT, data integration, and data security principles.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional IT and business teams.
- Strong execution focus, with a track record of delivering complex data transformation projects on time.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- ITIL Certified.
- Certifications in Snowflake or SAP technologies are a plus.
- Fluent in English.
