As Senior Data Analytics Architect, you will safeguard the technical integrity of Arla’s finance and AFI analytics landscape. You will define and govern architectures that are secure, scalable, evolvable, and low in technical debt, while aligning stakeholders and guiding teams to deliver resilient analytics solutions across a global business. Furthermore your key responsibilities include:
Define and govern end-to-end architecture for data analytics and BI solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, Databricks and Delta Lake.
Lead architecture and design discussions with product, engineering, analytics and finance teams.
Translate business goals and requirements into practical, future-proof technical designs.
Establish standards and best practices for data modeling, integration, data quality, lineage, documentation, security and compliance.
Champion platform capabilities and reusable patterns, embedding privacy, cost management, observability and performance by design.
Guide and mentor development teams and analysts, review key designs, and contribute to the architect community and roadmap development.
Evaluate emerging technologies and continuously improve analytics capabilities and governance across Finance and AFI.

You bring a strong data product mindset and the ability to balance strategic architectural vision with hands-on problem solving. You communicate confidently across technical and business domains and thrive in complex, global environments. We imagine the ideal candidate brings:
5+ years of experience designing analytics, data warehousing or BI solutions, ideally within finance or enterprise environments.
Strong expertise in Azure-based data platforms, data modeling, ETL frameworks and governance for large-scale datasets.
Proficiency in Python, PySpark and SQL, combined with a solid understanding of data engineering and architectural trade-offs.
Experience with agile delivery and DataOps practices, including CI/CD, orchestration and observability.
Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
A proactive mindset, strong ownership of outcomes, and finance analytics experience as an advantage.
