The Senior Data Analyst leverages advanced analytical skills and industry expertise to drive the creation of comprehensive analytic content that supports strategic business initiatives. This role is pivotal in providing deep insights into the efficacy of programs and processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and KPIs, and tracking progression towards those goals. By utilizing sophisticated data analysis and interpretation techniques, the Senior Data Analyst identifies areas of success and concern, delivering actionable recommendations to enhance customer outcomes. The Senior Data Analyst will function as an integral extension of the customers team, delivering measurable business value and a strong commitment to their success.
responsibilities :
Establish and maintain productive partnerships with key stakeholders and customers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor
Function as Data Product Owner developing and implementing advanced analytical frameworks and content to support complex business initiatives
Identify new data products and recommend ideas to the business that drive value and improve report usage and ftion
Lead and deliver projects independently and proactively communicate and collaborate across teams
Ensure alignment with strategic goals and KPIs through detailed tracking and reporting
Define standard process, best practices and formats for data and visualization
Leverage company-standard tools (including Jira) to provide visibility to progression of projects
Provide expert-level insights into program efficacy and process improvements
Mentor and guide junior data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights
Apply economic thinking across all projects
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience
5 or more years of dashboard design or development experience
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies
Proven track record of driving business outcomes through data-driven insights
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members
Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance
Expert-level data visualization skills including dashboard development experience using Business Intelligence reporting tools
Advanced Microsoft skills including SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint
Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end data flows from source system to reporting including the desired business outcomes
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest quality products
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment with the ability to effectively interface and present to Executives and senior leadership
Advanced analytical skills and in-depth business knowledge, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data into business insights
Exceptional requirements gathering, documentation and wireframing skills with experience leading requirements workshops and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Strategic thinking and the ability to make connections across business functions, delivering comprehensive data products rather than isolated point solutions
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships virtually across multiple functional areas and levels of leadership
Creative problem solver and proactive leader, who takes ownership of their projects and drives them to successful completion
Ability to apply economic thinking in all projects
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, estimate effort and proactively identify and pursue high-value projects and activities
Experience mentoring and guiding junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team
