About the project
We are seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to join our team and contribute to delivering reliable business intelligence solutions.
You will work closely with internal teams to transform reporting and analytic requirements into effective BI implementations. Your expertise will support the migration of legacy systems and uphold data security standards within our data warehouse environment. If you have strong skills in SQL and experience with ETL and Google Cloud technologies, we encourage you to apply and become part of our innovative team.
In this role, you will work with an American multinational technology company. The project offers many opportunities to learn, as our client is recognized as one of the Big Five companies in the American information technology industry.
Your responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into business intelligence solutions
- Develop ETL packages and scripts for extracting and loading data into the data warehouse using internal workflow engines
- Migrate legacy data workflows to updated infrastructure aligned with new design standards
- Implement and maintain data security and access policies in accordance with organizational guidelines
- Participate in data warehouse project planning and execution across various business domains
- Optimize SQL queries and data manipulation processes to ensure efficient data retrieval
- Create and maintain data visualizations using tools such as Looker, Google Data Studio, or Tableau
- Ensure data quality and consistency in all ETL and reporting processes
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of data integration issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data workflows and reporting capabilities
Our requirements
- Extensive experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and reporting
- Strong proficiency in SQL, particularly with Google BigQuery
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple data warehouse projects across different business domains
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Looker, Google Data Studio, or Tableau
- Knowledge of data security standards and access policy implementation
- Experience working with Google Cloud BI stack components such as Dremel, BigQuery, and Looker
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Capability to collaborate effectively within project teams
- Fluent English language skills
Optional
- Familiarity with Google BI stack technologies including Dremel and PLX Dashboards
- Experience in project management related to data integration initiatives
