We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing QIAGEN Cybersecurity Team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading efforts to efficiently identify, analyze, and mitigate cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents. You will provide mentorship to junior team members, lead complex investigations, perform threat hunting, and help shape the overall security operations strategy of the organization. This is a critical position requiring a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, advanced threat detection, security operations processes and incident response.
responsibilities :
Incident Response: Lead the response to complex cybersecurity incidents, including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery, and conduct thorough post-incident analysis to determine root causes.
Threat Analysis and Hunting: Proactively hunt for threats across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments by analyzing data from various sources (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, IDS/IPS, EDR).
Integration and Automation: Gain efficiency by leveraging automation capabilities (e.g. Microsoft Sentinel), including Azure Logic Apps, to create automated response workflows and integrate with other security tools
Vulnerability Management: Assist with regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities to address identified weaknesses.
Threat Intelligence: Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and integrate threat intelligence into the organizations defensive strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the organizations overall security posture through improved detection capabilities, policies, and processes.

requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) and best practices.
Proven experience in incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and security operations (Microsoft Sentinel experience is highly preferred).
Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., KQL, Python, PowerShell, Bash) to enhance security monitoring and response capabilities.
Deep technical expertise in incident response context for Microsoft Windows, MacOs and/or Linux investigations.
Relevant certifications such as GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Offensive Security Defensive Security Operations Certification (OSDSOC), or similar are highly preferred.
