We are looking for a Senior Credit Expert who will play a key role in shaping credit decisions and risk strategy for our Polish SME portfolio.

This role works daily in English with an international team and has a direct impact on business growth and portfolio quality.

Your impact in this role

In this position, you will be responsible for end-to-end credit risk assessment of SME clients in the logistics sector. Your decisions will directly influence portfolio quality, business growth, and risk exposure.

This is a senior role with real ownership, not a purely analytical or back-office position.

What you will do

• Conduct in-depth financial, credit, and risk analyses of SME clients
• Prepare, present, and defend credit approval recommendations
• Identify business opportunities and risk-mitigation strategies within the portfolio
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Management on strategic decision-making
• Manage communication and negotiations with insurance companies and external partners
• Monitor portfolio performance and proactively identify early-warning signals
• Contribute to the improvement of risk‑assessment methodologies, data sources, and tools

What were looking for

Experience and background

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in credit risk, underwriting, or financial analysis
• Experience with SME or B2B business models in logistics is a strong advantage

Language requirements

Fluent English – daily working language (meetings, documentation, communication)

Polish – native or full professional proficiency

Skills and mindset

• Strong understanding of credit risk principles, fraud risks, and financial statements
• Solid knowledge of cash‑flow dynamics and credit products
• Ownership mindset – comfortable taking responsibility for decisions
• Ability to challenge assumptions and communicate risk clearly
• Comfortable working in a fast‑growing, changing fintech environment
