The candidate will join the cost monitoring team with responsibilities for:

• Performing budget controls on commitments and invoices
• Conducting ongoing control of local accounting entries
• Producing reports: external reports for local accounting, internal reports (budget and actual expenses by entity and cost)
• Collecting and centralizing data from accounting
• Extracting, controlling, and sending commitments to accounting tools to generate accruals in accounting systems
• Managing open purchase orders / accruals
• Updating and documenting processes

Requirements:

• Accounting Knowledge : Understanding of fundamental accounting principles (such as accruals, invoice verification, capitalization, amortization, and the distinction between P&L and balance sheet)
• Language Skills : Proficiency in English.
• Experience : min. 5 years of experience in accounting/ cost control. Experience in an international setting is beneficial.
• Analytical Skills : Ability to interpret accounting data and articulate the narrative behind the numbers
• Team Collaboration : Inclusive approach with strong relationship-building abilities
• Resilience : Ability to reflect on and learn from mistakes and setbacks
• Excel Proficiency : Competence in using complex formulas
• Power Query : Familiarity with Power Query is advantageous
