Senior Control Systems Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join a leading international M&E consultancy thats driving innovation in sustainable building design and digital infrastructure.

Location: London – Hybrid Working

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 & Bonus

Responsibilities

• Support the production of detailed MEP control system designs and specifications for a variety of building types.
• Develop points lists, sequence of operations, and functional specifications.
• Produce schematics, network topology drawings, and control function diagrams.
• Conduct condition surveys, prepare technical reports, and recommend improvement plans.
• Represent the company at technical meetings with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Specify and attend FATs, SATs, and Integrated Systems Testing.
• Oversee commissioning activities and ensure project delivery meets the highest standards.

Experience Required

• HNC/BEng in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Engineer or above.
• Strong understanding of building automation, instrumentation, and monitoring systems.
• Proficiency in control system design, documentation, and reporting.
• Experience with major control system vendors such as Schneider, Siemens, and Trend.
• Solid understanding of networks, cabling, and network security.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and client‑facing skills.
• Ability to lead projects, mentor others, and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to travel for international projects when required.
