You will play a pivotal role in overseeing risk and control portfolios related to the deployment of artificial intelligence, digital assets, and quantum innovations, ensuring secure and responsible growth. Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role. Your responsibilities Lead the design and operation of model risk and technology controls specifically related to AI development and deployment. Partner with risk and control owners to ensure comprehensive understanding and mitigation of technology and non-financial risks. Drive the deployment of risk management frameworks supporting scaled AI adoption within a complex financial environment. Oversee emerging risks, strategic initiatives, and change activities, providing insightful reporting and escalation. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across all lines of defense to promote a proactive risk culture and deliver robust controls. Manage stakeholder relationships, including senior leaders and third-party providers, to ensure effective risk governance and decision-making. Support cultural change initiatives fostering integrated and outcome-based risk management. Our requirements Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the design and operation of model risk and technology controls, ideally within financial services. Proven expertise in responsible AI governance and technological risk management. Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams and stakeholders in complex, matrixed organizations. Technical familiarity with digital currencies, cloud architecture, quantum computing, and third-party technology providers. Deep knowledge of Non-Financial Risk frameworks and controls. Excellent project management and communication skills, including experience in preparing board presentations. Fluent English command, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Optional Certifications in Risk Management, Governance, or relevant technologies. Experience working with emerging AI platforms and responsible AI policies within the financial sector.
