Role Summary

As an SEO Content Editor, you will edit, optimize, and enhance website content written by in‑house writers to boost search engine rankings and user engagement. You’ll collaborate closely with writers, SEO specialists, and marketing teams to deliver high‑quality, SEO‑friendly content that drives traffic and supports business objectives.

Your Skills And Experience

• 3+ years of experience in content editing with a strong focus on SEO optimization.
• Consistently edit 16,000–18,000 words per week while maintaining high quality.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, on‑page optimization.
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Strategic thinker who understands how content editing contributes to broader business goals.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Effective communicator who collaborates well with cross‑functional teams.
• Can‑do attitude, excited about embracing change and new ways to scale our content efforts.

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities

• Edit and optimize content to improve search engine rankings and user engagement.
• Collaborate with writers to ensure SEO best practices are applied consistently.
• Implement on‑page SEO techniques, including meta descriptions, title tags, and headers.
• Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
• Maintain a high volume of editing work without compromising quality.
• Proactively suggest initiatives to enhance content strategy and achieve company goals.
