How you will make an impact

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team in Gdansk (part of IT Services). This role demands a high level of technical expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for the complex troubleshooting and resolution of level 2 & 3 support incidents, leading the design and implementation of key cloud initiatives, and ensuring the reliable delivery of mission-critical service requests. You will leverage your advanced technical skills to drive innovation and efficiency within the team, while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

Specifically, you will:

1. Work with complex tasks related to the maintenance and support of Azure cloud infrastructure
2. Focus on Azure Virtual Machines, including deployment, configuration, automation, and management
3. Work on level 2 & 3 support incidents and implement solutions to resolve issues
4. Cooperate effectively with other members of the team and with other departments to achieve common goals
5. Create and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks, procedures, and knowledge base articles
6. Monitor health and performance of Azure resources and respond to alerts
7. Continuously learn about new Azure technologies and services and actively seek opportunities for professional development
8. Optionally participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support coverage (extra paid)

What will make you successful:

1. 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years focused on Azure cloud environments
2. Proven experience managing and troubleshooting Windows Server or Linux operating systems
3. Advanced knowledge of Azure Active Directory / Entra ID and security best practices
4. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates
5. Strong understanding of PKI and certificate management including Azure Key Vaults
6. Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and/or Python to create Runbooks

Furthermore you have:

1. Hands-on experience with on-prem Active Directory and GPOs
2. Some experience with other cloud providers (GCP or AWS)
3. Strong focus on storage accounts, identity and access management, and networking
4. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
5. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator and/or other associate level certificates)
6. Knowledge about ITIL or other frameworks
7. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
