We are working on an advanced Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform aimed at automating manufacturing processes. The platform’s primary goal is to connect to industrial machinery, extract telemetry data, and process this data to generate valuable insights. As a "closed open-source" product, it is distributed to clients without a licensing fee, but custom development is provided on top of it. Developed modules are reintegrated into the platform to benefit both internal and client projects.

The platform consists of two main components:

Data Platform: Built on Databricks, providing scalable ETL processes, automation, and quality testing. The platform leverages Azure Databricks, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric for big data and analytics workloads.

IIoT Platform: Focused on integrating IoT devices, sensors, and industrial protocols with Microsoft Azure tools and services.

Senior Cloud Engineer – IIoT & Data Platform (AWS, .NET, Terraform, Azure)

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, cloud-native solutions using Azure services (including Service Bus, EventHub, IoT Hub).
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Work with .NET 8 for custom software development and integration on the IIoT platform.
• Implement and optimize ML/AI models using Azure OpenAI and anomaly detection systems for predictive maintenance and insights.
• Collaborate on building integration solutions with ERP systems like SAP MII and SAP S4Hana.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of features via DevOps pipelines and deployments to Kubernetes (AKS) or Databricks.
• Work with IoT protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, S7) and IoT Edge modules.
• Collaborate directly with Microsoft stakeholders on developing shared components for open-source distribution.

Our requirements

• Proven experience with AWS and Azure cloud services, including IoT Hub, EventHub, and Service Bus.
• Strong expertise in .NET 8 development and building scalable, high-performance applications.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation and deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Power BI for data engineering and visualization.
• Familiarity with industrial IoT protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, S7).
• Strong background in DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes (AKS) deployments.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts, including working with Azure OpenAI and anomaly detection techniques.
• Ability to work within an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
