Job Description

Our client, a reputable consultancy in the civil engineering sector, is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team permanently. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for infrastructure engineering, particularly within the highways discipline, to contribute to impactful projects and advance their career.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and delivery of highways infrastructure projects
• Preparing and managing project documentation, including detailed engineering reports
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Conducting site inspections and assessments to verify project requirements
• Ensuring projects comply with relevant engineering standards and regulations
• Managing project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
• Communicating with clients and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met

Requirements

• Extensive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on highways infrastructure
• In-depth understanding of highways design principles and relevant software
• Proven ability to lead projects from conception to completion
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across disciplines
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
