About this opportunity:

Welcome to the Accounting Data & Governance team. We add value by overseeing quality and efficient delivery of accounting data for all Nordea financial data consumers. We act as process experts with high competence in daily accounting and accounting data governance. As a Senior Change & Process Specialist you’ll play a valuable role in analysing, improving, and making Nordea’s accounting flow & processes more efficient every day, both from the governance and operational perspective.

As a part of our team you will play a valuable role in driving clear, tangible improvements throughout Nordea’s accounting processes to increase the quality and efficiency in our deliveries to stakeholders and the market.

What you will be doing:

• Supporting business users and projects with analysis of Nordea accounting data
• Analysing accounting processes to find weaknesses and areas of improvement
• Driving implementation of improvements across the organisation for instance, changes to our general ledger, chart of accounts and other changes to the accounting processes
• Participating in finance and accounting development projects focused on process optimization
• Improving Nordea’s accounting data assets by implementing strong controls and standards

The role is based in Sweden, Finland and Poland.

Your experience and background:

• You have a strong drive and experience of delivering assignments as part of a team
• You have experience of working with accounting in banks or financial institutions
• You have practical knowledge of SAP system
• You have practical experience in implementing/changing accounting standards into existing processes across different functions

Advantages:

• Previous experience of working with auditing or financial controlling would be an advantage
• Proven expertise with large-scale, multinational projects involving both internal and external stakeholders would be an asset
• Basic knowledge of SQL would be an advantage
• Having an ACCA, CIMA, CFA or similar qualifications would be an advantage
