Completion of the proposed separation of Kidney Care from Baxter into a standalone company (to be named Vantive) remains subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions.

Purpose of the Position : At Baxter, we are building a best-in-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization. We are implementing a transformative program which will streamline processes, enhance systems, improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen business partnerships, and enhance opportunities for personal skill-building and professional growth.

Within this position, it is required to seek business insight from in-depth analysis and to summarize key points for discussion with senior stakeholders. This position interacts with the FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE) global teams as well as commercial finance and other CoE departments including C2C, A2R, P2P.

What will you be doing?

1. Proactively analyzing results and advising management on business and financial decisions/issues
2. Preparing month end variance analysis & investigation to understand key business dynamics
3. Preparing & presenting Regional financial results to Senior Finance Leadership on a monthly basis
4. Support cash flow Plan/Forecast cycle across all regions using analytics, trend analysis and partnering with local country business leaders on understanding unique drivers
5. Developing a deep understanding of drivers of cash flows in each region and developing and monitoring areas for cash generation improvement and forecasting accuracy
6. Partnering with Global Delivery Centre on reporting improvements
7. Taking part, contributing & influencing local/global improvement projects
8. Supporting ad hoc projects and decisions as required
9. Leading global cash flow initiatives as it relates to cash generation improvement, forecasting analytics, foreign exchange and overall cash visibility

Who are we looking for?

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field required

Knowledge/Experience:

• Demonstration of key finance competencies and typically 5 + years of experience in FP&A or Controlling field
• Technical and financial knowledge, including an understanding of accounting principles as well as an understanding of the relevant business environment
• Proficient in financial modelling skills and statistical techniques and selects the appropriate technique to address the problem at hand
• Knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, and Cognos preferred
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, positive and open mindset
• Proven ability to work with stakeholders cross-functionally and cross-culturally
• Planning/ organizing skills
• Strong time management skills
• Experience with managing process change and/or project management
• Proficiency in MS Office

• English: Native or bilingual proficiency required
