The team you will be a part of

The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organizations standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses suppliers products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organizations quality standards.

This role in summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer specializing in steel procurement to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation, and supply of steel materials to support our production and project requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Your responsibilities will include

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for steel and related materials in alignment with Beko HQ team.
• Manage supplier qualification, and performance monitoring.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and value creation.
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply risks to ensure continuity.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, production, quality) to align procurement with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and sustainability objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and supplier management.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in procurement/purchasing teams.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and in Polish.

Preferred skills and experiences

• Proven ability to deliver costs savings and process improvements.
• Masters/Bachelor degree in business administration, Procurement or related field.
