Senior Buyer - European Procurement (Transportation & Packaging)

Obowiązki

• Manage tender processes for European transportation (road, sea, express)
• Handle spot quotations and fuel surcharge index tracking
  
  Negotiate and manage supplier contracts in transportation and packaging categories
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs (on-time delivery, quality, etc.)
• Organize regular review meetings with forwarders and logistics providers
• Source and develop new packaging suppliers and solutions (e.g., carton materials)
• Support packaging innovation and implementation projects
  
  Collaborate with Quality team on packaging standards (PPAP, QIM)
  
  Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes (e.g., PPWR directive, mobility package, tolls)
• Lead cross-functional procurement projects and outsourcing initiatives
  
  Contribute to the development and execution of category strategies for packaging and logistics
• Support the implementation of sustainability-related initiatives in packaging and transport

Wymagania

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  
  Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Query)

• Experience in international procurement (preferably in transportation or packaging)

• Hands-on experience with tenders, e-sourcing platforms, and contract negotiations

• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems

• Willingness to travel (up to 20-30% of the time)

• Eagerness to learn and take ownership of complex procurement projects
  
  Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of the transportation or packaging material markets

• Experience in strategy development for commodities

• Proficiency in French
