Review business requirements documents for completeness, clarity, assumptions, issues
Ability to translate business needs and requirements into technical requirements/solution design document for technical development by Systems personnel, ensuring all parties share a common vision of the projects scope and functionality
You will also write epics and user stories that translate business needs into functional requirements
Communicate project concepts into effective visual images which clarify design elements and issues for both business and technical audiences
Identify gaps in current products or solutions, and participate in creating new solutions to fill these gaps
Understand the system architecture and functionality, assess the feasibility of requests and applies the features of the various products as applicable
Participate in the system’s design and impact analysis of different projects and change requests
Identify and eliminate miscommunications between business and technical project team members
Select the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for the systems and process design
Ensure BBH methodology is followed for project; provide meaningful feedback in accordance with departmental standards and guidelines
requirements-expected :
Bachelors degree or related work experience
4+ years of experience writing technical specifications, preferably at a financial services company
Knowledge of SQL, Advanced Excel (Macros) and Business Intelligence and Analytics tools such as Qlik (Sense, Nprinting), Alteryx, Cognos
Knowledge of full life-cycle methodology of systems development, experience with JIRA and Confluence
Demonstrated expertise interviewing and extracting high quality business requirements from stakeholders
Familiarity with Scrum methodology, creating and refining stories, leading refinements
Good organizational skills with ability to work quickly and accurately
Strong analytical and design skills with great written and oral communications skills
Ability to work in a team environment, collaborate and share knowledge
