About the project

The Business Analyst will support the successful implementation of critical business projects through effective business analysis, project management governance frameworks, including support of executive reporting. This role involves documenting and analyzing business processes and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive business performance. Additionally, the Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Your responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring key strategic initiatives, goals, and operational plans, ensuring they are delivered on time and provide insights to senior management
  • Act as a liaison between various business units and the strategy team to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Adhere to project management governance frameworks, including support of executive reporting for the Strategy Team
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the Re segment
  • Assist in key strategic initiatives, including acting as PMO, related to Climate, Energy Transition and other strategic priorities:
  • Project documentation including milestone plans, risk log, action log and updating/tracking
  • Support coordination, setting up meetings, writing minutes, follow-ups etc.
  • Maintain Strategy Team agenda (quarterly business reviews, reporting deadlines, events, etc.) Act as Admin for meetings as needed (invites, agenda, minutes).
  • Gather, review and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports and other key metrics using data analytics tools
  • You will report to Delivery Lead - Client Intelligence.

Our requirements

  • Proven experience in business analysis and project management.
  • Effective organizational and analytical skills with the ability to provide efficient, timely and reliable analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time well on tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in Power BI is a plus.
  • Ability to work self-directed and collaboratively with Strategy Director Office and cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and cultures.

  • Proactive, self-driven and highly self-supported team player with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Compelling stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at different levels of seniority.

  • High level of professionalism.

Optional

  • Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry (basic understanding of the P&C commercial lines market)
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance requirements
