ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S S.A.) was established in January 2021 following the integration of ERGO Digital IT and Atena into one entity, leveraging both companies’ strengths and best practices. As a part of ERGO Technology & Services Management AG, the technology holding of ERGO Group AG, we support millions of internal and external customers with state-of-the-art IT solutions to everyday problems.

In October 2022, ET&S S.A. expanded its scope of operations by creating a Business Services unit to contribute in a new way to the growth of ERGO’s business. Acting as a co-partner and internal consultant, it adds non-IT value and supports the development of the entire ERGO Group, currently offering skills in reporting, analysis, actuarial, and input management. How you will get the job done

• following up on VAIT regulatory changes in the German market and monitoring adoption within the insurance industry
• developing VAIT domain knowledge to act as SME/advisor for stakeholders
• providing guidance on VAIT requirements and best practices through data analysis of large amount of data
• identifying vulnerabilities from internal audit and analysing solutions
• traveling to European ERGO locations as needed
• driving complex regulatory project in IT Security area with the project team
• proactively managing project risks/issues and developing migration/treatment plans
• preparing project correspondence including status reports, executive updates and annual planning
• creating and delivering presentations to simplify complex information to stakeholders
• managing communication across cultures and within a virtual working environment
• coordinating analytical and change requests documentation to meet project timelines

Skills and experience you will need

• proficiency in English (C1)
• experience in regulatory reporting (Basel, BaFin, KNF, GSI, ESMA)
• broad knowledge of VAIT/DORA regulations and IT security requirements
• 5+ years of experience in delivering regulatory projects in a large, complex environment
• experience in a global Finance/Insurance or regulated industry
• strong management skills including project management, business analysis, security requirements analysis, financial management, change management and facilitation
• excellent analytical, documentation and organization skills
• ability to understand and redesign processes and key controls
• board level presentation skills
• ability to drive cross-functional and geographic workstreams and to deliver unified business performance
• experience in managing distributed teams and ability to work in a matrix setup
• proactive attitude with a sense of responsibility for assigned tasks
