About the Role

As a Senior Procurement Analyst, you will provide essential analytical support to Global Procurement, contributing to continuously improving analytic solutions, data structured, systems, and tools. Your role will be instrumental in integrating technology, improving data visibility, and driving the adoption of innovative solutions. You will work globally to enable better decision-making and elevate procurement practices to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of digital strategy for procurement within systems, applications, data architecture, and possibilities for utilization of GEN AI
  • Assess and improve existing procurement analytical solutions and systems
  • Develop analytical solutions and interfaces based on traditional structured data (invoice and transaction data and procurement master data) as well as qualitative data (i.e supplier quality data, ESG data, carbon data etc.)
  • Implement, and train the organization on advanced tools and systems, ensuring their adoption
  • Stay updated on external and internal trends within analytics best practices, shaping decisions within your responsibilities
  • Define requirements for procurement systems to enhance data visibility, KPI measurement, and overall efficiency
  • Establish reliable analytics tools aligned with procurement KPIs and goals
  • Support periodic reporting
  • Provide ad-hoc support for strategic procurement activities such as cost modeling, tender preparation, negotiation preparation, and spending analysis
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with category teams, finance, and other stakeholders to enable effective decision-making and performance management

Our requirements

  • High analytical skills with the ability to assess and visualize data clearly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Flows)
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP or similar platforms
  • Experience in technical writing and developing user-friendly front-end solutions for analytics. Knowledge of SQL or other database solutions and coding language is beneficial (Python, Alteryx or similar)
  • Familiarity with procurement-specific tools and methodologies, such as total-cost-of-ownership modeling, supplier management, and linear performance pricing is an advantage
  • Proficient communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • 4+ years of work experience within analytics for business or analytics solution development consulting
  • Professional oral and written English
  • Bachelor’s or higher level of education
