Senior Business Analyst, Process Implementation - Maternity Leave Cover - Fixed Term
Your responsibilities
Problem Solving/Assessment
1.Determines and applies appropriate methodologies and tools for analyzing a range of standard, functional and/or cross-functional issues (sometimes complex or with a high level of ambiguity)
2.Identifies process gaps and issues
3.Assesses impact of manual workarounds
4.Dynamic forward thinking to ensure customers are not impacted by process/technical failures
5.Determines and utilizes appropriate methodology including Lean Six Sigma where appropriate
Process Documentation
1.Design and document existing and/or proposed processes
2.Perform business analysis by comparing existing/proposed operational processes to best practice, identifying gaps and utilizing continuous improvement where appropriate
3.Data gathering through process mapping, flow charts and workshops – utilizing the information established in order to develop enhanced process engineering
4.Monitor Process Performance to understand how processes can be merged or simplified to benefit internal and external stakeholders
5.Utilize and apply ITIL 4 best practices where appropriate
Implementation and Change Management
1.Creates and coordinates smaller project plans and resources, executing them using appropriate tools and techniques
2.Ensures resources are in the right place at the right time
3.Works with stakeholders to gain alignment through implementation and post-implementation stages
4.Communicates team progress
5.Creates scope, project charter and stakeholder analysis
6.Applies appropriate project management skills and best practices including Lean Six Sigma
7.Supports and manages cross-functional business requirement documents (BRDs)
8.Obtains, creates, and documents BRDs engaging multiple stakeholders
9.Works with the BSAs and Dev team on solution design and development
10.Reviews functional design (FD)
11.Partners with stakeholders to analyze, define and document business processes within and across functional areas
12.Utilizes Agile or Lean Six Sigma methodology, supporting the design or improvement of business processes
13.Assist in performing user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring UAT is fully planned and executed, and assessing testing progress
14.Updates process and procedural documentation
15.Completes post deployment analysis: analyzing pre and post implementation results, as well as, expected benefits and actual results
16.Status reporting providing periodic project updates, highlighting risks, issues, and concerns
Coaching and Mentoring
1.Supports in providing necessary feedback, guidance and/or advice to junior team members and internal staff
2.May act in an advisory capacity to stakeholders, trainers, and/or subject-matter experts (SMEs)
