Salary ranges (current regulatory framework):

13 000 – 22 000 PLN for Change Expert IV

17 300 – 28 000 PLN for Change Expert V

Requirements

• University (Master’s) degree in (Management) Accounting & Control, Business IT, Accountancy or (Business) economics – exceptional academic track record is a plus.
• More than five years’ experience in the financial industry with knowledge of wholesale banking product accounting concepts.
• Understanding and knowledge of banking processes.
• Knowledge of complex financial markets products.
• Knowledge of product accounting concepts.
• Experience working with SQL.
• Experience with impact analyses and functional designs.
• Maintain event‑based product accounting specifications for FM & GT products (e.g., FX, MM, Swaps, Securities, Repo).
• Define and maintain non‑product related ledger processes and services (e.g., Cost of Funding).
• Maintain documentation and process descriptions (user manuals, quick reference cards).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships with international stakeholders.
• Team player and capable of working independently.
• Proactive attitude.

English level: C1

Extra points for:

• Knowledge of Hedge Accounting concepts.
• Comfortable in an Agile working environment and able to adopt AWOW techniques and tooling.
• Knowledge of FMGT FrontOffice and BackOffice systems (e.g., Murex, Summit, Sophis, Calypso).
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases for functional, acceptance and migration testing.
• Affinity with IT and innovation.

Your Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into finance user requirements.
• Act as single point of contact in front‑to‑end initiatives.
• Coordinate and facilitate activities on squad, tribe and/or program level.
• Support the product owner and squad in backlog management (epic → feature → user story translation).
• Analyse information and data needed for end‑user processes; investigate data quality issues and propose improvements.
• Implement and maintain controls related to minimum accounting standards.
• Support strategic initiatives and execute functional, acceptance and migration testing.
• Translate solution designs into IT solutions in close collaboration with IT.
• Second‑line functional support; daily monitoring of EOD tasks (timeliness, correctness, completeness of financial/product accounting, reporting, reconciliations, ledger).

Information About The Squad

As a change expert you will work in a constructive, multidisciplinary squad composed of business analysts, engineers and a product owner. The squad focuses on FM & GT initiatives with the objective of onboarding new portfolios to the central finance environment and improving current processing and reporting. Deep banking business knowledge (Group Treasury, Financial Markets, Transaction Services) and strong translation of business needs into accounting solutions are key to our success.

The role is aligned with the global ING job architecture as “Change Expert IV” or “Change Expert V”.
