What will you be doing?

Main responsibilities:

  1. Shaping and defining the business outcome
  2. Delivering the business analysis activities on projects and programmes
  3. Integrity and alignment of the proposed and chosen solutions with the business needs
  4. Identifying, owning and managing the specific key risks and/or IT controls and Business Protection standards
  5. Solving problems and dealing with difficulties in line with policy, process and other guidelines applying technical knowledge and expertise
  6. Recommending change based on expert know-how and analysis of the business situation taking account of similar previous problems
  7. Supporting project resources by giving advice or by taking on accountability to resolve more complex problems
  8. Building and maintaining effective relationships with the project team as well as extended stakeholders – incl. sponsor, business representatives and others (external subject matter experts, suppliers etc.)

What we’re looking for?

  1. Proven experience in Business Analyst covering all stages of the project lifecycle (min. 3-5 years preferable)
  2. Experience of working on large scale assignments in complex environments and multiple stakeholders involved
  3. Mentoring/Leading less experienced Business Analyst
  4. Knowledge of change management processes along with a willingness to try new ways of working and solutions (fail fast)
  5. Good analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills combining with thinking out of box to drive innovations and deliver outcomes
  6. Ability to communicate/ present to a variety of individuals with and influence business stakeholders whilst facilitating change
  7. Ability to work at pace with resiliency and comfortable with leading, negotiating and influencing to drive necessary deliverables
  8. Experience of working within a Scrum framework/agile practices
  9. Proficient in gathering business requirements and challenging them combined with strong discovery skills
  10. Detailed knowledge and experience of application of business analysis tools and techniques.

Nice to have

  1. Experience in insurance (Personal line) or financial/strongly regulated institutions
  2. Pricing knowledge/experience
  3. Experience of working on data projects and understanding of data flows
  4. Understanding of IT Infrastructure, cloud, API’s, databases etc.
  5. Proficient in JIRA/Confluence/Visio
  6. Experience in projects related to data processing
