Description & Requirements
Infor is looking for an experienced ERP Business Analyst who would utilize technical and business expertise to evaluate project needs and create leading edge solutions. The person on this role will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, will understand business processes and how they relate to ERP systems.
This position involves ensuring that business processes and systems align with the strategic goals of the organization and contribute to the successful delivery of software and will be an Expert in ERP discrete manufacturing client industry.
A Day in The Life Typically includes:
• Participating in the formulation of project plans
• Cooperating with Development Team, Product Manager and Consulting to evaluate and specify functional and non/functional requirements
• Evaluating existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Performing integration testing and systems testing of new development work
• Participating in design reviews to ensure requirements were interpreted correctly
• Identifying usage patterns/entity relationships and abstracts them to common, reusable components
• Networking with key contacts outside own area of expertise
• Supporting the preparation of user documentation
What will You need:
• 5 years business analyst experience and using, supporting, or testing commercial/business applications
• Practical experience in the area of modern requirements engineering / product discovery methods
• Knowledge of application domain (ERP products, discrete manufacturing)
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
• Mastery of how to formulate detailed design specifications according to software development life cycles in a team environment
• Strong working knowledge of modern software engineering practices & methodologies
• Fluency in English
• German language proficiency
