Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is establishing a central team to support the implementation of the new SAP S/4 HANA corporate solution (SherpaX) at other SFS entities. The Senior Business Analyst Accounting is part of this team – SFS AC SP (SFS Accounting & Controlling, Special Projects) – hosted by SFS Poland. The position holder will support global and local Accounting teams with definition of functional requirements for IT implementations, functional review of IT concepts including testing concepts, support of testing activities, identification of process improvement and automation opportunities, data analytics and quality assurance dashboards.
✅Conducting financial analysis of accounting data to support quality assurance
✅Developing analytical tools and KPI dashboards
✅Identifying AI use cases and leveraging AI agents to support financial analysis
✅Developing tools and reports to support data migrations between SAP and contract management systems
✅Interfacing between functional teams and IT (workstreams) and supporting functional teams to raise and test requirements
✅Performing financial analysis of migration data between SAP and contract management systems
✅Driving and supporting the rollout of centralized automation tools such as Redwood
✅Supporting the internal and external audit activities
requirements-expected :
✅A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance with a strong working knowledge of IFRS and the ability to research existing IFRS guidanc
✅Experience as business analyst financial services, experience with the migration of systems preferred
✅SAP knowledge (R/3, S/4 HANA) and knowledge of financial services contract management systems
✅A strong digitalization drive and skills in tools such as Power BI, KNIME, or other similar platforms
✅Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills
✅A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, accounting or a related field
✅The ability to thrive in multi-cultural, cross-functional environments, ideally with international project exposure
✅Fluency in English is required, additional European languages are a strong plus
✅Willingness to travel up to 15%
