The project is carried out as part of a public tender for the development and maintenance of enterprise-class IT systems for a European Agency operating in Poland. The position requires candidates to be able to come to the office (Plac Europejski) at the client’s request and with variable frequency.
responsibilities :
Define business objectives and analyze existing processes and EA frameworks to identify improvement and automation opportunities.
Gather, document, and prioritize business and system requirements, translating them into actionable project deliverables.
Model and document business architectures and processes (value chains, roles, capabilities, data) using BPMN, UML, and related notations.
Engage stakeholders through analysis and workshops to validate models, collect feedback, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Assess existing EA/BPM tools and solutions to ensure interoperability, compliance, and consistency across systems.
Support later project stages through requirements management, validation, testing, and user training.
Develop standards, policies, and best practices for process management integrated with corporate EA frameworks.
Report on progress, risks, and deliverables in line with project and contract management requirements.
requirements-expected :
Minimum 8 years of professional experience and at least 5 years in a similar role.
Excellent command in English (at least C1).
Possibility to visit client office with variable frequency.
At least two relevant certification from: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified UML Professional, BPM 2 (foundation level) or other equivalent certifications.
At least bachelor’s degree in IT or similar field of studies.
Completed at least one full software solution lifecycle as a business analyst.
Participated in projects focused on improving or redesigning business processes and have experience in business change management.
Proficiency in modeling and analyzing business processes and architectures (organization, value streams, capabilities, processes, information) using BPMN and UML notations.
Strong skills in using modeling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect, or similar.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to effectively create and maintain analytical and project documentation.
Familiarity with gathering and analyzing user requirements and formal process management methods.
Nice to have knowledge or experience in projects related to authentic and false identity and travel documents as well as/or systems processing large volumes of images.
