• We seek passionate Senior Software Engineers to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop robust, advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that have a direct impact on the business. Your role will be to contribute to the supply chain and planning technology team, specifically within the optimization space. The stack is never static, but at heart, all the code is written in Python with a heavy focus on SQL and Databricks.
• This project requires availability to join meetings from 7 am - 10 am PST (16:00-19:00 CET) and take part in rotational on-calls in the team from 12 am - 12 pm PST (21.00 - 9.00 CET).

• Design and implement scalable applications that leverage prediction models and optimization programs to deliver data-driven decisions that result in immense business impact
• Contribute to core advanced analytics and machine learning platforms and tools to enable both prediction and optimization model development
• Optimize the capability of the IT infrastructure and services to deliver a cost-effective and sustained level of application availability
• Develop complex tools and processes in support of continuity management
• Execute tests for system continuity, design, test, and implement monitoring tools and processes
• Write procedures to respond to results so system issues are brought to resolution
• Collect metrics over a long term for trending
• Perform complex work to install hardware and software, taking proactive steps to assure success.
• Devise a process and procedure for applying and maintaining security settings and user access based on the technology platform
• Recommend improvements as indicated based on analysis of current techniques and perceived imperfections

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or a related field, using Python
• Proficiency with cloud architecture and technologies, in particular Amazon Web Services
• Availability to join meetings from 7 am - 10 am PST (16:00-19:00 CET) and take part in rotational on-calls in the team from 12 am - 12 pm PST (21.00 - 9.00 CET)
• Knowledge of technologies like Databricks, Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Hive, and Terraform is highly desirable
• Experience with agile development and test-driven development
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
• Effective English communication skills (with team members, the business, and in code)
• Residing in Poland required
