responsibilities :
Design, implement, and maintain external-facing APIs that support customer-facing and partner-driven workflows
Build and evolve backend services that integrate with third-party platforms and data sources
Own API endpoints end-to-end, from data modeling and business logic through deployment and production support
Improve database schemas, queries, and data access patterns to support performance and scale
Translate product requirements into reliable, testable backend functionality
Investigate, debug, and resolve issues affecting customer integrations and production systems
Monitor and optimize service performance, reliability, and cost in a cloud environment
Collaborate with engineers across backend, frontend, data, ML, and infrastructure to deliver scalable platform features
Contribute to architectural decisions that improve the maintainability and extensibility of the platform as it grows
requirements-expected :
At least 5+ years of experience in software development
Strong proficiency in Python; experience with other object-oriented languages is acceptable
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining external-facing APIs and service integrations
Experience with AWS-based infrastructure, including compute and networking primitives (e.g., Lambda, EC2, IAM, VPC)
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases; PostgreSQL preferred
Familiarity with schema design, migrations, and query optimization
Experience writing automated tests and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience operating services in cloud environments, including deployment, monitoring, and debugging in production
Solid understanding of backend system design, including scalability, reliability, and performance tradeoffs
