Engineers are dedicated to delivering scalable, reliable, and user-centric solutions through a robust, modern architecture that fuels our continuous growth. Our team of 150 talented engineers is organized in a way that allows everyone to maximize their impact and take full ownership of their domain:

• Product teams focus on developing new features within specific business domains (invoicing, banking, accounting).
• Platform teams manage the infrastructure and core services (Cloud, DevOps, Core APIs, developer tools).
• Data team builds data pipelines (Data Engineering, Modeling, Analytics).

We are now looking for a talented Backend Engineer to join one of our Platform squads (IAM & Billing), currently composed of 4 Software Engineers, 1 Engineering Manager, and 1 Product Manager.

Regarding our stack, our architecture is structured in microservices and cloud functions, and we use Node.js, TypeScript, PHP, SQL, NoSQL, AWS, Docker, EventBridge, CircleCI and GitHub Actions.

Your Role as a Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer in the IAM & Billing team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing systems that power our services. Your expertise in backend technologies, clean architecture, and cloud environments will be key in delivering solutions that meet business requirements within a highly regulated sector.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and optimizing our platforms focused on user and access management, billing, and ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Contributing to a unified technical architecture and aligning technical domains under a shared vision.
• Writing efficient, reusable code, performing tests, and participating in code reviews to uphold high-quality standards.
• Promoting best development practices such as domain-driven design, clean code, pair programming, and mentoring.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy user-friendly software applications.
• Maintaining detailed, high-quality internal documentation to support collaboration and knowledge transfer across teams.

About you

• You have 5+ years of experience in a technical environment similar to ours.
• You’re highly proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, particularly with Node.js and/or Nest.js.
• You have solid expertise in clean code principles, microservices architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) for building scalable and maintainable systems.
• You’re familiar with event-driven design principles (event sourcing, CQRS, pub/sub patterns).
• You have hands-on expertise working in Cloud environments like AWS or GCP.
• You have a good understanding of product and design challenges and work effectively with Product Managers and designers.
• Ideally, you’ve worked in highly regulated sectors like banking or insurance and are familiar with user management, access management, and billing systems.
• You’re comfortable working in English and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
