We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team and help shape the Reports & Visualization Platform for our U.S. client. The project centers on building a custom dashboard solution that empowers users with intuitive filtering, personalized saved views, and advanced visualization features. You’ll be developing the backend services and APIs that make these experiences possible - transforming dashboards from static reports into dynamic, indispensable tools for daily decision-making.

You will work in Polish working hours (CEST). 

• Proven ability to design and build scalable APIs and microservices in production using C# / .NET, backed by 6+ years of experience.
  
• Strong SQL / PostgreSQL skills for advanced querying, optimization, aggregation, and processing of large analytical datasets with a focus on performance.
  
• Hands-on experience with caching (e.g., Redis), query profiling, building asynchronous data pipelines, optimizing response times, and conducting load testing.
  
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and system observability, including logs, metrics, and traces.
• Solid understanding of access control and security, including RBAC, multi-tenant architecture, and best practices for API security, pagination, and aggregation patterns in analytical systems.

Nice to have:

• Full-stack capability with React/TypeScript; familiarity with AMCharts or equivalent charting libraries.
• Experience with analytics/BI backends, KPI semantics, and time-series/trend computation.
• Knowledge of distributed systems patterns (message queues, background jobs, schedulers).
• Familiarity with Snowflake, data warehouse patterns, and tools such as DBT or MetricFlow.
