We are looking for an experienced Kotlin developer for a project for a German client in the tourism and recreation industry. A greenfield application built from scratch to support document processing within the organization and between clients and end users regarding long-term bike renting services.
responsibilities :
Developing new solution to handle processing documents regarding different cases (e.g. execution of insurance for rented bikes).
Propose new solutions to encountered challenges in the project.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to ensure the quality, stability, and maintainability of the code base.
Collaborate with other developers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solution.
requirements-expected :
Demonstrated proficiency in Kotlin (at least 3 years) and previous experience with other JVM languages (at least 5 years in total).
Experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications following best practices like SOLID, KISS, DRY.
Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including their advantages, disadvantages, and limitations.
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and related technologies as well as with monolithic applications.
Knowledge of CI/CD processes and best practices.
