Our Backend Engineers assume development and operational responsibility for the HelloFresh platform that serves millions globally to deliver the best experience for our customers and internal users. Our requirements Strong background in backend development, with a focus on microservices and distributed systems Proven ability to build event-driven architectures using messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS/SNS Proficiency in Go and/or PHP is preferred; experience with JVM languages and a willingness to learn Golang is also welcome Practical knowledge of Docker, container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and CI/CD implementation Solid foundation in testing practices, including both unit and end-to-end testing Deep understanding of relational databases Familiarity with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and/or GraphQL is a plus What we offer Health - From day one, you will have private health insurance coverage and a 50% subsidy on MultiSport, your access to thousands of gyms, swimming pools, and fitness studios nationwide.
