Backend Engineers assume development and operational responsibility for the HelloFresh platform that serves millions globally to deliver the best experience for our customers and internal users. responsibilities :
Work on of the architecture, design, development, deployment and operations of the microservices you will develop, using DevOps practices, pair programming and other cutting edge methodologies
Be active, solution-oriented member of autonomous, cross-functional agile teams collaborating with Product Owners, Front-end Engineers, Designers, and Business Intelligence teams
Having an in-depth understanding of HelloFresh’s core product and architecture, and act as ambassador for software solutions offering support and mentorship to colleagues
Work with state-of-the-art technologies like Golang, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes and more
requirements-expected :
Strong background in backend development, with a focus on microservices and distributed systems
Proven ability to build event-driven architectures using messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS/SNS
Proficiency in Go and/or PHP is preferred; experience with JVM languages and a willingness to learn Golang is also welcome
Practical knowledge of Docker, container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and CI/CD implementation
Solid foundation in testing practices, including both unit and end-to-end testing
Deep understanding of relational databases
Familiarity with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and/or GraphQL is a plus
