Senior Backend Engineer Miejsce pracy: Warszawa Technologies we use Expected AWS Docker Kubernetes .NET Optional Go About the project This is a rare opportunity to help shape quality practices across an end-to-end platform spanning high-resolution imagery, AI-driven insights, and scalable data delivery systems while establishing API projects in our new Warsaw engineering hub. Youll be contributing to a platform that processes petabytes of aerial imagery, powers advanced AI models, and delivers real-time geospatial insights to customers around the world. Your responsibilities Champion the evolution of Nearmap’s geospatial data platform, including distributed imagery storage, AI data pipelines, and content delivery optimisation. Ensure sub-second latency and high-throughput performance across customer-facing APIs and internal services Our requirements 5 years experience in backend technologies including Go and/or C#. Deep understanding of API design, cloud-native architectures (such as microservices, containers, events) preferably on AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and observability tooling. Experience with distributed storage or content delivery.
