Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of backend developers; provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Architecture Design : Architect high-performing and scalable backend systems that integrate with other business systems and third-party services.
• Advanced Development : Handle the more complex aspects of backend development, including critical updates and innovations in existing systems.
• Strategic Consultation : Act as a strategic partner to key stakeholders, advising on technology trends, best practices, and potential impacts on business outcomes.
• Performance Optimization : Lead efforts in performance tuning and scalability enhancements. Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
• Client Interaction : Regularly interact with clients, understanding their needs and translating them into technical solutions. Manage expectations and communicate effectively both technical and non-technical matters.
• Innovation and Research : Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies. Encourage and lead innovation and continuous improvement through research and development.

Qualifications

• Advanced Degree : Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
• Extensive Experience : Proven experience in backend development with a proven track record of successful project delivery as a senior developer.
• Expert Programming Skills : Expertise in JVM programming languages (one between Java, Kotlin, Scala) and related programming framework (one between Spring Boot, Quarkus, Gradle or Vertex).
• Cloud Skills : Proven experience in one of the major Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deployment : Proven experience in deploying code in production with DevOps practices.
• Cache/Message Bus/Queue : One between Redis, MQTT, Kafka.
• Proven Leadership Skills : Experience leading development teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot challenging issues.
• Excellent Communication : Strong ability to present complex ideas and influence stakeholders.
• Client Management : Skilled in managing client relationships and expectations.
• Availability to work in a hybrid mode or remotely with at least 1 visit in the office per quarter.
