We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer with a passion for designing and building end-to-end solutions for complex problems on a large scale. We mainly use Python and Kotlin.

The position predominantly involves:

1. Backend services, infrastructure, and data pipelines
2. Complex business logic and filtering
3. Fare tracking optimization

Your impact:

• Help clients potentially save millions of dollars in travel expenses.
• Contribute to the development of a sophisticated system that efficiently manages billions of dollars in Air and Hotel Spend while automatically tracking hundreds of millions of data points.
• Help Oversee grow its product offering and potential client base considerably.

You have:

• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
• C.S Degree from a leading academic institution.
• Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns of a distributed, high-scale application (e.g., solving bottlenecks, improving architecture to solve scale issues in time).
• 3+ years of production-grade experience with Python and Django.
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin or Java.
• Good knowledge of RDBMS and practice with SQL.
• Familiar with Linux runtime environment.
• Experience connecting to 3rd party APIs using REST/SOAP.
• People person, strong team player and able to give and receive feedback, always looking to improve and learn.
• High written and verbal communication skills in English.

Advantages:

• Familiarity with the Travel Industry and specifically working with GDS (Sabre/Amadeus/Travelport) APIs.
• Involvement in open-source projects or cool side projects.
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS.
• Familiarity with agile, scrum, and continuous-everything methodologies.
