As a Senior Backend Spark Developer, your mission will be to develop, test, and deploy the technical and functional specifications from the Solution Designers, Business Architects, and Business Analysts, ensuring correct operability and compliance with internal quality levels.

We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:

1. Develop end-to-end ETL processes with Spark/Scala, including transferring data from/to the data lake, technical validations, business logic, etc.
2. Use Scrum methodology and be part of a high-performance team.
3. Document your solutions in the Group Santander tools: JIRA, Confluence, ALM.
4. Certify your delivery and its integration with other components, designing and performing the relevant tests to ensure the quality of your team delivery.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required qualifications:

1. At least 7 years of experience in programming.
2. At least 3 years of experience programming backend applications with Big Data technologies, preferably in Spark with Scala.
3. Agile approach for software development.
4. English (at least B2+).

Preferred qualifications:

1. Jenkins orchestration.
2. Bash scripting.
3. ControlM.
4. Basics of cybersecurity & Quality (Sonar, etc.).
