Senior Azure Engineer
Your responsibilities
- Providing technical support to engineers and business stakeholders for enterprise services, cloud infrastructure, and related technologies, including scheduled tasks beyond business hours.
- Creating and updating procedures for system maintenance, such as access management, troubleshooting cloud service issues, and reporting incidents.
- Implementing security measures for IT networks through effective security strategies, system updates, and firewall policies.
- Monitoring threats and responding to security incidents.
- Conducting log analysis and managing patches to ensure system integrity and security.
- Maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure components (e.g., Linux and/or Windows servers on virtual machine instances, identity management, monitoring tools, SQL databases, virtual desktop solutions, application security gateways, automation scripts, and infrastructure as code solutions).
- Administration of enterprise online services, including document management, email systems, cloud storage, endpoint management, and automated device deployment.
- Enhancing system performance, including operating system components and network infrastructure.
- Strengthening security measures for Windows and Linux servers.
- Assisting architects in IT infrastructure design and project implementation.
- Contributing to the establishment of IT standards related to hardware, software, and networking.
Our requirements
- Expertise in cloud environments - Azure is must have
- Experience in managing network security within cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (Change, Incident, Problem management).
- Administration of operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux distributions.
- Understanding of networking concepts (virtual networks, security groups, VPNs), identity management, and security policies.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluency in English (minimum B2/C1 level).
- Certifications related to cloud platforms at an associate level or higher.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
- Understanding of containerized application deployment and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with monitoring tools.
